The Amazon Rain Forest is rich in wildlife, some of it undiscovered by science. One of these undiscovered creatures is the Mapinguari. It is known from both native and modern accounts

Appearance & DescriptionEdit

The Mapinguari walks on 2 or 4 legs. When on 2 legs, it stands 7 feet tall. The creature's fur is red, and the arms end in large claws. The back is sloping, and the feet are described as "bottle-shapped". The Mapinguari is also extremely carnivorous

The Mapinguari is speculated to be a surviving specimen of the extinct giant ground sloth. Others say it could be a Bigfoot, or an unusual anteater
