The Hudson River Monster, otherwise known as Kipsy, is a strange cryptid reported from New York's Hudson River. It is typically found between Manhattan and Poughkeepsie, which is where it gets its pseudonym.
Appearance & Description[]
The Hudson River Monster is brown or grey, and typically looks like a hump. More detailed sightings describe a Nessie-like, plesiosaur creature.
Theories/Explanations[]
The Hudson River Monster is thought to be a living plesiosaur, like many aquatic cryptids. However, in many of these cryptids, surviving prehistoric whales like Zeuglodon have replaced plesiosaurs as cryptozoologist's favorite theory.
