The Dingonek is a highly territorial, amphibious cryptid from Africa. It was seen mostly during the 18th and 19th centuries, but native Africans have seen it for centuries.

Appearance & DescriptionEdit

The Dingonek is described as having a scaly body, a lion's head with walrus fangs and a horn. Its body is long and raised, like a lizard's or a snake's, and the tail has a scorpion stinger on the end. It dwells in rivers and lakes.

Theories/explanations Edit

Aside from hoaxes, no plausible theories explanations of what the Dingonek could be exist. It is probably some form of reptile.
