Bathysphaera

A cryptid spotted only once ever, Bathysphaera Intacta, as it was named by the spotter (William Beebe), lives at ocean depths of 2100 feet. 2 were spotted by Beebe off the coast of Bermuda in a bathysphere, which is where the creature got its name.

Appearance & Description

Bathysphaera Intacta is 6 feet long, with a row of blue lights down each side. There are also 2 ventrical tentacles that also end in lights.

Theories/Explanations

Beebe himself classified Bathysphaera Intacta with the scaleless black dragonfish (Subfamily Melanostomiidae), but he admitted this was a guess and that the largest known dragonfish was only 15 inches long.
